today i got the first smell of winter.
i was just leaving home when i sensed that cold, wet smell with just a hint of blue, that made me think of snow.
of course there was no snow.
it is not due yet.
but i found myself dreaming of the big, silent snowflakes of a midnight snowfall.
when it seems the night is holding its breath listening for sounds.

then the moment passed.
the grey, dry non-smell of a city morning came back, and i was on my way.

i was testing usernames and stratbrat was accepted, so next step was an avatar. didn't i have some old 3D stratocasters somewhere? and: yes, downsize an put username on. avatar done.
So why not take that very picture as my first deviation?
it all fits together nicely, don't you think?
don't worry; future deviations won't even try...

So, i'm in.
easy.
now i have to decide what to submit.
